Day One (August 2nd)
Eight states in our Rocky Mountain Region bring hundreds of wines available for the most discriminating of wine connoisseurs. Enjoy the delectable foods of top local chefs, as well as seminars for your entertainment. A portion of ticket sales will be going to various non-profit organizations. Rounding out your enjoyment local musicians such as a cellist, and pianist will be enhancing the ambiance of your overall experience. Additionally we will be welcoming the talents of local artists displaying their fine art throughout this 2 day event.

Comments It is an elegant French restaurant in Back Bay that is located in a beautiful Brownstone. They will be moving this summer to the new Mandarin Hotel. Try to go before they leave. The Dedalus Wine Shop is run by a few enthusiasts with a history of building award-winning restaurant wine lists and providing high-value wine education to wine lovers at any level of wine appreciation. The shop's selection, though currently small, is continually changing, well thought out, and very interesting. The shop's newsletter is published monthly and available in print at the shop or to download on the shop's website.

Their monthly tastings are outstanding, always free, and always lead by a well-informed wine educator.

Wine clubs at Dedalus are also very interesting. All club wines are hand selected and presented with interesting information. There are themed clubs for folks new to wine appreciation and a custom club for those with specific interests or areas they would like to explore.

Dedalus' hours of operation: Mon, Wed, and Fri, from 4 PM to 8 PM, or by appointment.

It has 2 locations in the area, I've only been to the Raleigh train track one, but the cafe is done cafeteria-style and everything is really delish and it's pretty cheap. For some reason I don't recall much of a "bakery" but I'd imagine it would be good? The market area is pretty well stocked, too, though I doubt I know what 85% of it all is. The pretty little pictures on the website are pretty true-to-life.
