Chef Pappy does an incredible job of producing some very fine food. We ate there this June, and the experience was exquisite. We had red roasted ribs and sesame steamed dumplings for the first course, next was the sticky plum duck and bacon wrapped pork tenderloin for the main course and for desert we had housemade tolberone and Hazelnut Guava Praline. The one amazing aspect of each course was that one dish was very familiar and very well done while the other dish was something unfamliliar, but amazing. All this for a little over $120 without wine. The host Scott was great as well, he very much loves what he does. If you are in the Taos area, go to Byzantium you will not be disappointed. Robbie and Michele |
