Where to Eat in [Lincoln City OR]
Click the EasyEdit button at the top of the page to start. | Restaurants Blackfish Cafe (541) 996-10072733 NW HWY 101Wonderful fresh seafood and assorted house specailities for lunch and dinner make this a "go back to" place. Claim to fame with the tourist crowd seems to be the fish and chips which are said to be the best of the best by those who choose them but there are so many great choices from appetizers to sandwiches to pastas to entrees to desserts that any choice is a good one. Fun and funky space that is a little industrial in feel. Service ranges from good to very good depending on crowds.. Wheelchair accessible, including bathrooms, although parking can be "dicey". Restaurant associated with Rockfish Bakery so great bread for table service and sandwiches. |
| Side Door Cafe 6675 Gleneden Beach Lp Gleneden Beach OR 97388 541-764-3825 A restaurant with charming ambiance a bit off the beaten path and not far from the south end of Lincoln City. A hit with locals as well as visitors staying at nearby Salishan Lodge. Everything is wonderfully prepared. Salads using local produce are hard to beat.) On a recent visit with six people, choices from bouilibasser served with risotto, to rib eye, to steamer clams with cilantro pesto broth to roasted salmon got rave reviews. Very good service. On some evenings there are peformances in adjacent live arts space. Wheelchair accessible, including bathrooms and parking. |
| Andaman Thai / Tiger Lily Tea and Dessert Bar Hway 101 Phone: Across the parking lot from a car wash and next door to a self service dog wash, this store front is not a location to take advantage of the views or ambiance, although the restaurant space itself is charming and reflects the tranquility of the owner who is almost always present to greet, seat and serve. Really good Thai food lovingly prepared and presented. Service can be snail slow and those who eat here regularly know that but consider it part of the charm of the place. Impatient tourists who don't know "the drill" can be seen walking in and out again before having their order taken. Not a place to eat for those in a hurry but the food is worth the wait. Simple standards like Tom Yum Gai shine. Specialities like halibut with green curry are wonderful. Recently opened Tea & Dessert Bar serves both Thai desserts and an assortment of cakes brought in from Papa Hayden bakery in Portland. There is more than one Thai restaurant in town, THIS is the one to eat at! Restaurant space is weelchair accessible, but van accessible parking can be a problem. |
| Deli at Salishan Gleneden Beach Phone: Just outside the south end of Lincoln City in the Salishan shopping mall, this deli has good sandiwches using Boar's Head products, homemade deli sides and salads, speciality cheeses, two kinds of delicious soup daily and very good little pizzas. Eat in at one of the few tables in the bright and comfortable space or take out. Expanded hours during peak tourist season. |
