His pedigree includes stints at the French Laundry and The Inn at Little Washington. The portions are ample, but small compared to most restaurants, and he cooks everything to its perfect temperature. That means medium to medium rare on some fish species. The service is professional. The food is divine. The wine list is thoughtful. The best way to experience the restaurant is to choose the Chef's tasting menu of 4, 5, or 6 courses. Let them pair the wine with the courses. They know what they are doing. It's a treasure for true gourmands. If you're not that into food and wine, don't go. It's for serious foodies only. |
