Not quite in Raleigh; it's in Carrboro, which is pretty much in Chapel Hill, so it's generally in the right area. Big ups to the organic/fair trade/shade grown aspect, and Terrific Tuesday Sangria (!!). And true of most Carrboro eateries, they feature an artist or photographer's work in the place. The thing about carrboro, people joke (probably only half-joke) that residents skip showers to save the planet. they stinky. but man, every food place (literally) is organic.

Panzanella is owned by the members of the Weaver Street Co-op. Italian fare inspired by locally produced vegetables, meats, and cheeses. All the breads come from the bakery in the Weaver Street grocery store. They also host a number of farm dinners during the summer and wine events.
