Denotes a Food & Wine Editors' Pick| Cafe Provence 11 Center St Brandon, VT 05733 (802) 247-9997 Open for Lunch, Bistro and Dinner, with a menu featuring local products from cheeses to meats the menu is changed often and always something to appeal to each taste. Each time I visit it is a difficult task to choose what to have is is going to be shall I start with Sautéed Duck Hudson Foie Gras on home made ginger bread, fruit & raisin chutney and of course follow the chef suggestion with a glass of Sautern wine then onto dinner, one of my favorites is the Stuffed filet of Sole with Shrimp Mousse, Mushrooms & Roasted Peppers or sometimes I just leave it up to the chef and he will choose my dinner and with complete faith it is usually nothing less the fabulous! |

Delicious! Couldn't wait to return to NY to tell all of my friends about this gem hidden away in Brandon, VT! The casual, country atmosphere is the perfect compliment to the delicate flavors of this fine French fare. And who would have thought that you'd find such a lovely wine list at a restaurant in the middle of VT? Bottom line, if you're a fan of good food, you should make a special trip to eat at Cafe Provence!
